Kohl’s closed

Kohl’s Corp. announced late Thursday that it was closing its stores nationwide later that day. The store in Johnson Creek had this closure sign posted on the door Friday morning and the parking lot was empty except for two cars, presumably belonging to employees. Macy’s, Nordstroms, T.J. Maxx and other department stores also announced closing around the country last week. Wall-Mart, which provides food and other supplies deemed “essential” by the government trimmed its hours for the second time, to 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily in most stores nationwide.
