A burning problem

Watertown firefighters were called at 7:15 p.m. Monday to South Concord Avenue and West Haven Drive for a combine fire. Watertown Fire Chief Kraig Biefeld said he does not know the cause of the fire or the estimated damages. He said the combine was fully involved when fire units arrived. Biefeld also said approximately one acre of the field the combine was in burned. The department was called out again to the same location at 11:26 p.m. to extinguish any potential hotspots.
