Watertown High School students stood at East Main and South Sixth streets Wednesday afternoon as part of the nationwide protest against George Floyd’s death last week in Minneapolis. The students held signs indicating “Black Lives Matter,” “Watertown, Don’t Forget BLM” and “No Justice, No Peace.” The students included, Gwen Woerishofer, Keeleigh Wagner, Kiara Borchardt, Michaela Zeck and Tyson Schultz. More protesters were at the intersection earlier in the day. The students said they are planning another peaceful protest Friday.
