Silver spotted skipper butterfly

Kim Hiller captured this image of a silver spotted skipper butterfly as it got ready to unfurl it’s proboscis to sip nectar from a zinnia flower. The proboscis is the butterfly’s tongue and is curled up next to the body when not in use.
