HELENVILLE -- Another Helenville business has apparently been victimized by at least one thief in an incident Jefferson County Sheriff's Department Detective Leah Meyer reported occurred Monday evening at Ron's Market, which is the BP gas station at the intersection of state Highway 18 and County Highway D.

Meyer stated in a sheriff's department Facebook posting that a white male between the ages of 20-25 years old with a height of 5 feet 7 inches and a slender build walked into the station and an undisclosed time, demanded money from the attendant, obtained an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and left on foot.

Wearing blue jeans, a camouflage hooded sweatshirt, black Vans brand shoes, a white/black neoprene skull mask and Carhartt knit hat, the man was last seen running north on County Highway D.

Anyone with information is asked to call Meyer at 920-674-7365.

In recent days the Helenville bank, located a few blocks to the west of the BP, was also robbed. That crime remains unsolved.
