The YMCA’s free, 30-day Strong Challenge launches Monday.

This challenge encourages participants to get up and get moving for 150 minutes a week over the course of 30 days.

The “Y” will provide free content for all participants including weekly workout routines, recipes, nutritional advice, workout playlists, meditation series and more.

“This challenge is an opportunity to help our community become stronger inside and out,” said Sara Farrow, member engagement director for the Watertown Area YMCA. “We know that being healthy isn’t just physical, it includes total well-being in spirit, mind and body. Not only does this challenge provide a lot of great resources to guide people through the 30 days, but participants have the opportunity to join a small group and get the support and encouragement they need, connect with an accountability buddy, or help to encourage others on their journey.

“We hope our Watertown community will join and embrace this challenge to get stronger together.”
