STOUGHTON -- Derek Karlen drew a leadoff walk and scored the winning run on a base hit as Stoughton defeated Watertown's American Legion U19 baseball team 4-3 on Friday.
Karlen drew the walk off Watertown pitcher Ryan Hogquist, stole second and was bunted over to third before scoring the game-winner on a line drive single to left.
Stoughton scored three runs in the fourth inning to break a scoreless tie. Watertown (0-3) rallied with three runs in the top of the sixth inning to pull even.
Ayden Schauer began the rally with a one-out single to right, advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored on Hogquist's RBI double to center. Evan Sellnow followed with an RBI double to center, advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on an error to make it a 3-3 score.
Hoqquist allowed four runs (one earned) on seven hits with three strikeouts and five walks over 6 1/3 innings.
Watertown plays at Beaver Dam on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and hosts Beaver Dam on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
