Jerry Petitgoue was a recent guest on SportsTalk with Jamie Koepp. The Galena, Illinois native became the Cuba City Head Boys Basketball coach in 1971.

The University of Dubuque graduate also coached at Lena-Winslow and Galena High School before arriving at Cuba City.

Petitgoue is the winningest basketball coach in Wisconsin high school history. He has served as the past-president and is the current Executive Director of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. Petitgoue and his wife, Joan, have three adult children; Michele, Mark, and Ryan.

“Coach Petitgoue is a living legend, has a heart of gold and is a friend to everyone he meets,” Koepp said.
