Watertown’s American Legion 19U baseball team lost to Hartland Post 294 by an 8-3 score on Monday night at Washington Park.

Tim Traub started and took the loss for Watertown (0-2), allowing four runs (three earned) on one hit with five strikeouts and five walks over three-plus innings. Nathan deGalley and Henry Strupp finished up in relief. Each allowed two unearned runs. Watertown committed three errors in the loss.

Noah Noyce had two of Watertown’s five hits. Anthony Dominguez added a double.

Watertown hosts Stoughton on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
