Elroy Emil Louis Maas, age 86, of Neshkoro, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2019, at Theda Care Medical Center of Neenah.
He was born on Feb. 5, 1933, in Watertown, the son of Frank and Linna (Schoenike) Maas.
He married Dorothy (Lichtenberg) on Sept. 12, 1953, at St. John's Lutheran Church of Woodland, and they enjoyed 65 years together.
Elroy had worked for Globe Milling, Universal Mill Co-op, Midland Feeds and also farmed.
He is a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Neshkoro.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 65 years, Dorothy, their children, Gerald (Cindy) Maas, Randy (Cheryl) Maas, Terry Maas, Elroy (Michele) Maas Jr., Steven (Tammy) Maas, Sharon (Mark) Kulke, David (Kris) Maas, Paul (Karen) Maas, Thomas (Katy) Maas, Tami (David) Haley, Joan (LeeRoy) Carpenter, Dean (Rhonda) Maas, Jane (Lance) Wright and Missy (James) Bostrom; 41 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ricky Maas; three sisters, Charlotte Maas, Francis Pieper, and Alice Lichtenberg.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, at 1 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Neshkoro with the Rev. Arthur Callies officiating and burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery of Neshkoro.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday only from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Neshkoro.
