Glendale, AZ -- Scott R. Peterson, 63, of Glendale AZ, passed away October 24th of a massive heart attack. He was born in Watertown WI on May 4th, 1956, the son of Robert and Adeline Peterson. He was baptized at Wesley Methodist Church. He attended Grade School and graduated High School in Watertown. He married Brenda Goodman on September 6th, 1986. Together they owned and operated Tuck-Away Resort on Hattie Lake in Backus MN. He loved the outdoors participating in many professional fishing tournaments. Though moving away from WI, he never left his love of the Packers behind. You never had to guess where his loyalty stood as his attire was always the green and gold. He eventually moved to Glendale AZ, where he was employed by Denmark Foods, retiring just this year as a meat cutter.
Scott is survived by his Wife, Brenda Peterson of Glendale; a Son, Scott (Cubby) Peterson Jr. of Naples, FL; Stepchildren, Therese Crow of Glendale AZ and Christopher Bauchman of Los Angeles, CA; Grandchildren, Tyler and Jordana and Step-grandson, Cooper; One Brother, Ken (Kathy) Peterson of Watertown and One Sister, Karen (Mike) Theder of Phoenix; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Robert E. Peterson and Adeline (Froelich) Peterson, and a Niece, Jenny Theder.
Most of Scott's life, his friends knew him as "BEAR" a nickname that only translated into a big Teddy Bear. His BIG personality was one of being kind and a fun person to be around. He will be missed for his contagious laugh, his BEAR HUGS, and his warm smile.
