Douglas G. Becker, 36, of Watertown, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at UW Hospital in Madison, surrounded by his family.
He was born Feb. 27, 1983, in Monroe, the son of Gregory and Angela (nee Seamon) Becker. He enjoyed cooking, playing poker, working outside and spending time with his sons.
Honoring his generous wish, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ donation. He will forever live in our hearts and through others.
Douglas is survived by his parents, Gregory and Angela of Watertown; his sister, Makenzie (Chris) Drays, also of Watertown; as well as a niece, Aubree Drays. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Jim Seamon of Calvin, Oklahoma, Phyllis (LaVerne) Blasing of Lena, Illinois, and his paternal grandparents, Roger Becker of Freeport, Illinois, and Merlene Erb of Lena, Illinois. He is also survived by his sons Cameron and Conner Becker of Ellsworth, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his cousin, Christina Perry, and great-grandparents.
A celebration of life is being held July 6 at the Sugar Island Barn, W3801 County Road O, Watertown, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at the State Bank of Reeseville (Watertown), in memory of Douglas for his sons Cameron and Conner Becker.
