Terry Triana

Terry L. Triana, 71, of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Watertown Regional Medical Center.

Terry Louis Triana was born on Jan. 19, 1948, to Nicholas and Irene (nee Giese) Triana in Watertown. He was a graduate of Watertown High School. On Sept. 12, 1991, Terry married the former Teresa Theder in Kauai, Hawaii. Terry was employed as a police officer for 29 years in Watertown. He and Teresa also owned and operated Triana's Trophy Case. Terry was currently the vice president of the Watertown Auto Club and was a member of the planning committee in the town of Emmet. Terry's favorite hobby was restoring his 1970 W31 Oldsmobile Cutlass. He enjoyed meeting up with his fellow retired officers and friends for coffee. Terry also was an avid Packer and Brewers fan. Terry loved his dogs Sofie, Ali and Molly, who were his comfort during his courageous battle with cancer. Terry also enjoyed watching deer, feeding birds and vacationing with his wife in the mountains of Colorado.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa of Watertown; children, Angela (Steve) Klecker of Watertown, Matt Triana of Watertown, Lyndsey (Craig) Tilot of Green Bay, Korin Kuehl of Watertown; grandchildren, Eagen Beck, Ally Klecker, Memphis Klecker, Mason Triana, Tiahna Tilot, Teagan Tilot, Averil Tilot; other relatives and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to thank the Watertown Regional Medical Center nurses and staff -- specifically Grace, Deb, June, Jess, Mary and Beth. We would also like to thank the staff at UW Cancer Center in Johnson Creek -- Jo, Brett, Jill, both Jessies and Dr. Michael Eastman. A very special thank you to Angela and Cailee of Rainbow Hospice -- all for taking such wonderful care of Terry during his battle with cancer.

To our husband, dad, papa, grandpa, poppy, and best friend -- you were the sweetest, most kind, courageous, unselfish and loving man. You are already missed more than you know.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Watertown, 117 N. First St. In lieu of flowers, the Terry L. Triana Memorial Scholarship fund has been set up through Associated Bank that will be used to provide scholarships to high school students pursuing a degree in criminal justice and service dogs to veterans.
