Johnson Creek, WI -- On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, Ted P. Werner passed away at the age of 65, at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek. Ted was born on October 25, 1953 to Francis and Ruth Werner of Johnson Creek. His roots ran deep in his home town. He graduated from the local high school, volunteered at the Johnson Creek Fire Department and worked for Avon Hi-Life. He eventually moved to Madison to work and retire from Oscar Mayer. In his last days, Ted was eager to return to Johnson Creek to be where it all began. He found happiness in the little things, like watching sports, playing cards and fishing with family and friends. He was proud of his two daughters, who blessed him with four wonderful grandchildren. He was known to have a kind heart and witty sense of humor, which both remained until his final days.
Ted will be forever missed by his two daughters Tina (Jay) Thrane, Laura (Will) Johnson, his grandchildren, his twin brother Ned (Mary) Werner, his brothers Dale (Marianne) Werner, Kent (Danelle) Werner, Stan Werner, his sister Darla (John) Mueller, his sister-in-law Darlene Werner and many nieces and nephews. Ted will now be reunited with his parents, brother Dean Werner and infant daughter Kimberly Werner.
All family and friends are invited to Ted's Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 21st, 2019 at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Community Center, 417 Union St., Johnson Creek WI 53038.
