Cop set Tuesday

Coffee with a Cop will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Watertown Senior and Community Center with Capt. Dave Brower. The public may ask the officer how the Watertown Police Department operates. This is an opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the police officers and deputies in the Watertown Police Department. The event is free and open to the public.

Loaves and Fishes

The Loaves and Fishes Community Meal will be served Monday from 5-6 p.m. at Watertown Moravian Church, 510 Cole St.

The meal is sponsored by Ebenezer Moravian and Watertown Moravian churches.

Hospice to hold

breakfast meeting

Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Care Center, 1225 Remmel Drive, Johnson Creek, will hold a Monday Morning Joe breakfast meeting on Monday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the upper level dining room.


movie planned

The movie "Breakthrough" will be shown at the Watertown Senior and Community Center at 1 p.m. Tuesday. "Breakthrough" is about a 14-year-old boy who drowns in a lake and his faithful mother prays for him to come back from the brink of death and be healed. The movie stars Topher Grace, Josh Lucas, Chrissy Metz, Mike Colter and Dennis Haysbert. The movie is rated PG and runs one hour and 56 minutes. The movie feature is free to members of the center and an activity fee of $1 will be charged for nonmembers age 55 and older. Refreshments will be served.

Watertown Kiwanis

to host meeting

The Watertown Kiwanis will hold a Service Club meeting Monday at noon at the Crave Restaurant at Marquardt.

The club's mission is to make the welfare of children a top priority and organize programs to support the young population in the surrounding community. Service Club meetings involve discussing such programming and business matters.

Family center hosts

summer playgroup

The Watertown Family Center is hosting its Parent and Child Enrichment Playgroups in the Park this summer.

The playgroup will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11 a.m. at Union Park on Elm Street in August.

The PACE playgroup offers parents an opportunity to spend time with their children while meeting other local families. During that time, parents/caregivers and children will work on science, engineering, art and math activities. Children will learn through play and work on developing their social, fine and gross motor skills. A snack will be provided for the children.

The playgroup is free and open to children of any age, but they must be accompanied by an adult. Donations are appreciated. The playgroup will be canceled if it is raining.

Club plans meeting

The Watertown Rotary Club will meet Monday at noon at Madison College, 1300 W. Main St.
