Popcorn sales

Employees of The Towne Cinema hosted a pop-up popcorn sale Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the movie theater located at 308 E. Main St. Using Facebook, customers were invited to send in their orders, which were prepared in advance and delivered curbside when they arrived at the theater. Dozens of tubs of popcorn were sold pre-order, with many others sold to customers walking and driving by who stopped to see what activity was taking place. Towne Cinema Manager Matt Sampon, left, handed a bucket of popcorn to customers Donna and Dave Stangler of Watertown.
