Ixonia drive-through voting

Town of Ixonia Election Inspector Sally Heins communicates with a member of the public who wished to cast her absentee ballot for the spring election at a drive-through window of the Ixonia Town Hall Monday. The hall was open for the drive through voting from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The facility is a former bank and was able to offer the unique service in light of the option provided by the facility and the COVID-19 virus threat, according to town Clerk Nancy Zastrow. “This is wonderful. It’s such a blessing we have this,” Heins said. “People can feel safe and still vote.”
