A car fire occurred Saturday on state Highway 26 just north of County Highway L near the town of Emmet.

Watertown firefighters extinguished a car blaze Saturday on state Highway 26 just north of County Highway L near the town of Emmet.

Watertown fire Chief Kraig Biefeld said his department was called at 1:30 p.m. and cleared from the scene just after 2:30 p.m. He said the occupants were out of the small sedan when firefighters arrived to find the car fully engulfed. There were no injuries to report.

Biefeld said the car was a total loss. He did not give a cause for the fire.
