TOWN OF CLYMAN -- A car fire in the town of Clyman Thursday resulted in the total loss of a vehicle.

There were no injuries caused by the flames.

According to Clyman Fire Chief Eric Howlett, the Reeseville Fire Department responded at 12:41 p.m. to a report of a car fire on County Highway J near the intersection of state highways 16 and 26. When the firefighters arrived, the vehicle was already fully engulfed in flames.

The Clyman Fire Department was unable to respond to the fire immediately because they were on multiple calls at the time, according to Howlett. The department was later able to arrive on the scene.

Howlett said the cause of the fire is unknown.
