Plan commission to hold public hearing

Watertown plan commission to meet

The city of Watertown Plan Commission will hold a public hearing today at 4:30 p.m. in the council chambers regarding a request for a day care.

The day care is a conditional use permit request for a building at 500 Milford St. Before the meeting, the site plan review committee will hear the day care request at 1:30 p.m.

The commission will then review and take action on the request.

In other city committee business that day:

-- Tonight at 5:30 the finance committee will review a request to repurpose the Cable TV Capital Fund that was originally budgeted for studio cameras to purchase a 100 terabyte server, costing between $10,000 and $12,000, that is capable of saving seven years of video files to comply with the open records law.

-- The finance committee will also review the purchase of a K-9 dog from Jessiffany Canine Services for $13,500 for the police department.
