Watertown Elks Lodge members will be commemorating the birth of the American flag and the service of the past and present military service personnel Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 117 N. First St.

The ceremony honors nine different flags starting with the pine tree flag, which was flown from 1776 to 1777, through the current American flag. It offers an explanation of the history of each flag which will be presented by the Watertown Elks Lodge. Jefferson County Sheriff Paul Milbrath is keynote speaker of the event.

The public is encouraged to attend. Those who have questions may call 920-261-8601.
