Scholarship available in Johnson Creek

JOHNSON CREEK -- The Johnson Creek Education Foundation is offering a $1,500 scholarship to a Johnson Creek resident who is seeking further education.

The applicant must have attended Johnson Creek High School and be a current resident of the school district. Additionally, the applicant must have a high school diploma or GED, have been out of school for a minimum of five years, have plans to complete a degree or certificate program and carry a minimum of six credit hours.

Individuals who meet these criteria are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

Applications are due July 1 and are available on the Johnson Creek School District website, the elementary school office, the food pantry, the Johnson Creek Library, Crossroads Day Care or by contacting Carol Battenberg at
