JEFFERSON -- The Jefferson County 4-H Program will hold an open house Monday, Oct. 7 at the Jefferson County Highway Department located at 1425 S. Wisconsin Drive in Jefferson.

The open house will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public.

The program is geared to answer questions of what 4-H is about, how children get involved and what the program has to offer children.

Returning members, new members or anyone wanting to know more about the 4-H program are invited to stop in and say "hello."

Jefferson County 4-H clubs, projects and educational opportunities, such as trips, will have displays showing what they have to offer the youths of the county. There will also be information on 4-H in general, countywide programs, camp and a registration station for enrollment assistance.

There will also be games and snacks.
