JUNEAU -- The workshop "Living Well with Chronic Conditions" will run Mondays, Feb. 19-March 26, from 1-3 p.m. in the Stretches Room of Marquardt Village, 1045 Hill St., Watertown.

The workshop is for adults of all ages who have a chronic disease. Chronic diseases are lifelong health conditions and include diabetes, arthritis, HIV/AIDS, high blood pressure, depression, heart disease, chronic pain, anxiety, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia and others.

The Living Well workshop is a complement to medical care. Workshop attendees will learn practical ways of dealing with pain and fatigue, discover better nutrition and exercise choices, understand new treatment choices and learn better ways of talking with their doctor and family about their health.

Living Well workshops are delivered in six two-hour weekly sessions. They are taught by two certified leaders; either one or both are non-health professionals who have a chronic disease themselves and will lead the workshop from their own experience.

To register for the workshop, call the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Dodge County at 920-386-3580. A $15 donation is suggested for the workbook.
