Lead Maintenance Technician

Compensation: $24.00/hr and up,

based on experience

Job Description:

If you are an experienced Maintenance Technician

with some Supervisory experience looking for a

position with a solid and growing company,

Glasfloss Industries might be a good fit for you.

The person we’re looking for would lead a small

group of Maintenance Techs (2-4) and perform daily

maintenance duties throughout our manufacturing


Job Responsibilities would include:

• Prioritize Maintenance work in conjunction with

the Plant Manager

• Maintain a Preventive Maintenance plan

• Schedule work to optimize production up-time

• Learn and Contribute to process layout, equipment

designs, and functionality

• Overall communication, feedback, and guidance of

Maintenance staff

• Ensure proper training of Maintenance staff

• Monitor and troubleshoot workmanship of the staff

• Take corrective action and discipline Maintenance

staff as needed

• Perform maintenance duties yourself and be the

go-to person for staff members

• Order equipment parts and contact outside

contractors for their assistance as needed

• Stay within a budget for purchases and

Maintenance hours or secure approvals.

• Perform most of the training needed by your staff

Job Requirements:

The lead Maintenance Technician must be highly

motivated, punctual, and do what’s necessary to

complete jobs in a timely manner. Excellent

communication skills, problem solving ability, and

ability to work well with others are definite
