MARSHALL -- The staff at Farmers & Merchants State Bank congratulated Austin German recently on his achievement of an associate's degree in accounting from Madison College.
German plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to earn his bachelor's degree in accounting. His future goals are to earn a master's degree in accounting or to become a certified public accountant. German has been with Farmers & Merchants State Bank since June 2015 in a variety of roles and currently is in customer service/accounting.
"The bank is proud of his accomplishment and the contributions he has made to the team," a media release from the bank stated. "We are confident that Austin will continue to be very successful in accomplishing his goals."
Farmers & Merchants State Bank is a $167 million independent community bank located on state Highway 19 in both Waterloo and Marshall that provides full-service banking, online home and home equity loans, online banking services along with in-house financial services.
