Warriors defeat Marshall

MARSHALL - Lakeside Lutheran's wrestling team racked up seven pins in a 53-27 victory over Marshall Tuesday.

The Warriors got pins from Connor Fussner (112 pounds), Erik Griggs (125), Jason Zweifel (145), Tyler Zimmerman (152), Mitch Huebner (171), Ben Miller (189) and Phil Behl (215).

Huebner earned his first varsity win with a pin in 1 minute, 2 seconds. Behl recorded his 51st career pin, tying him for second on Lakeside's career pins list.

Lakeside wrestles at the Whitewater Invitational on Saturday.

Neu notches 100th win

for Husty at triple dual

CAMBRIDGE - Hustisford wrestled as a combined team with Milwaukee North and lost to Whitewater 48-25, lost to Cambridge 72-12 and lost to Clinton 70-13 in a nonconference triple dual Tuesday.

Senior Austin Neu went 3-0 at 189 and 215 pounds with an injury default, a pin and a technical fall to improve to 13-0. Neu recorded his 100th career prep victory in the second match.

“That's quite a milestone,” Hustisford wrestling coach Dan Simon said. “Any time somebody wins 100 matches, that's a career, and he's got half a season left to go.”

Senior Brock Becker went 1-2 at 119 and 125. Freshman Allen Fenner went 1-2 at 135.

Hustisford wrestles at Dodgeland on Thursday at 7 p.m.
