Nagel Home in Parade of Homes

The 15th annual Holiday Parade of Homes will be held on Sunday, Dec. 7, and include the modern home of Eric and Linnea Nagel, 905 Shamrock Lane.
The Nagels purchased their home in May this year. After experiencing condo living in Pewaukee for the past two years, the couple decided to relocate to Watertown to be closer to family and friends.
The 2,400-square-foot split ranch built by Willow Creek features a master bedroom suite with French doors off the kitchen with solid dark surface countertops, a spacious living room with a fireplace, two guest bedrooms, a den and a fully finished basement.
Christmas is Linnea's favorite time of the year. In fact, when the couple was looking for houses in Watertown the running joke was always “just how many trees could this house hold?” Last year for Christmas Linnea put up four Christmas trees in their small condo.
This year there is a tree in almost every room of the house. Each is themed to match the décor of the room. The main floor features a den with French doors the couple calls the “Latte Lounge” complete with a java-themed Christmas tree.
Whether entertaining or lounging with their dogs, this house is truly a home for the Nagels.
Other homes on the tour include David and Sheri Weber, 106 Oak Hill Court; Tim and Peg Theder, 500 S. Fourth St.; Jill Kube, 624 Autumn Crest Drive; Steve and Deb Simpson, 605 Highland Ave.; Glenn and Mary Katzner, 319 Elizabeth St.; and Peter and Julie Watts, 920 N. Fourth St.
Tickets are $12 in advance and can be purchased from the Counseling Center of Watertown or any board member and at Josephine's Paper Box, Tribeca's Gallery Cafe and Books, the Upper Krust, Calico Cottage-Rock River Winery, Sanft Accounting & Tax LLC, and the Health and Wellness Center. A limited number of tickets will be available the day of the tour at any home for $15. Raffle tickets will be sold at the Nagel home.
Free tickets can be won during today's annual Christmas Parade of Lights in Watertown. Fliers will be distributed during the parade and 10 individuals may win free admission to the Holiday Parade of Homes.
