She loved to travel, enjoying two recent trips to the rain forests of Costa Rica with her Olbrich colleagues. She loved outdoor sports like swimming, camping and canoeing, especially in the Boundary Waters. Bonnie appreciated classical music and opera and regularly attended the Milwaukee symphony.
She acquired an extensive collection of antiques that befitted her early 20th century home, and she restored some of her own furniture. Bonnie Kiessling was passionate about all of these activities, and sought to inject art and nature into all aspects of her life.
