City man is killed in crash on Highway M

A 56-year-old Watertown man was killed Saturday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident north of Watertown in Dodge County.
Clyde “Butch” L. Kohlhoff was operating his car south on County Highway M, near Hill Road, when his vehicle missed a curve, struck a culvert and went airborne.
Kohlhoff, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County medical examiner. Kohlhof was a 1970 graduate of Watertown High School and had owned and operated Butch's Radiator Shop in Watertown.
The accident was reported at 4:53 p.m. Saturday. He was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Department, alcohol, speed and failure to utilize a seat belt were factors in the crash.
Assisting the sheriff's department at the scene was the county's crash investigation team and chaplain, Wisconsin State Patrol, Watertown Fire Department, and Lebanon Fire Department and EMS.
