Sheriff's department lists top five most wanted

JUNEAU - The Dodge County Sheriff's Department has released the August “Dodge County's Top Five Most Wanted.”

The list includes:

- Matthew J. Bauer, 22, last known address of W11959 Second St., Randolph. Bauer is wanted by Dodge County for failure to pay child support in excess of $6,145 and by Jefferson County for failure to appear on his fourth operating after revocation offense.

- Eduardo Gonzalez, 40, last known address of 730 Lexington Way, Waterloo. Gonzalez is wanted by Dodge County for failure to pay child support in excess of $62,793; failure to comply with sex offender registration; failure to appear family offense; and by the Watertown Police Department for issuing worthless checks.

- Mark A. Hills, 45, last known address of 89 W. Division St., Fond du Lac. Hills is wanted by Dodge County for failure to pay child support in excess of $42,980.

- Shannon W. Johnson, 31, last known address of 828 Elm St., Wisconsin Dells. Johnson is wanted by Dodge County for failure to pay child support in excess of $12,740; by Sauk County for failure to appear small claims; and by Jefferson County for failure to pay child support.

- Michael J. Schmidt, 43, last known address of 922 S. Spring St., Beaver Dam. Schmidt is wanted by Dodge County for failure to pay child support in excess of $4,711.

“As of August 2008, we have apprehended 173 out of 230 persons published since implementation of the program in April of 2003,” according to Dodge County Sheriff Todd Nehls. “This is a 75 percent capture rate.”
