Veteran to speak at Maranatha

World War II veteran George Michel will be the guest speaker at the Winter History Seminar Series hosted by the Humanities Department at Maranatha Baptist Bible College Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Michel was a World War II draftee trained to be a radio operator/gunner on a B-24 bomber. He flew 9 1/2 missions over Germany shortly after D-Day. He will be sharing his wartime experiences as an airman and as a prisoner of war interred in Switzerland during the war.
Michel has spoken extensively to a variety of audiences throughout Wisconsin. He is associated with Operation World War II Remembered.
The talk will be given in room 102 on the lower level of the Dining Complex.
