Kenneth and Darlene May of Reeseville are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Kenneth and the former Darlene Weidenfeld were married April 12, 1969, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown by the Rev. Wilke. The best man was Wayne May of Watertown, maid of honor was Peggy Preinfalk (Schoenike) of Watertown, groomsmen were Roger Manthey and Dave Kessler and bridesmaids were Karen Borth (Schulz) and Vicki Brom (Tester), both of Watertown. Ring bearer was Tim May of Watertown and the flower girl was Pam Seelman (Weidenfeld) of Deerfield.

Kenneth and Darlene are both retired. Kenneth was an assembler at Sentry Equipment in Oconomowoc and is now a hobby farmer. Darlene worked as an accountant and currently volunteers as the treasurer for the Reeseville Fire Department.

Kenneth and Darlene have three children, Rebecca (Wade) Jones of Shoreview, Minnesota, Andrew (Bernadette) May of Algonquin, Illinois, and Rachel (Urs) Brechbuehler of Metairie, Louisiana. The couple also have seven grandchildren.

A private celebration with children and grandchildren was held in Door County.
