Leroy and Joyce Nemitz, N9273 Ash Road, Watertown, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 28, with an open house at the Bank of Lake Mills, 400 Bernard St., Watertown, in the lower level from 1 to 5 p.m. Family members, friends and neighbors are invited to attend.

Leroy and the former Joyce Mundt were united in marriage on Oct. 28, 1967, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown. Attending the couple were Diane Claas, Joan Zimmerman, Judy Gosdeck, Kathy Cortez and Cindy Gregg, Ernest Omet Jr., David Klingbeil, John Moldenhauer, the late Earl Zimmerman and the late Norb Behling.

The Nemitzes are the parents of one son, Shawn (Haley), and grandparents of Cole and Braeden Nemitz.

Joyce is retired from nursing in the health care field. Leroy is a retired furniture upholsterer.
