Conovers to celebrate 50 years of marriage

Bill and Linda Conover of Watertown are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to where it all began on a blind date, Tucson, Arizona.

Bill and the former Linda Anderson were married Sept. 6, 1969, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Holbrook, Arizona.

The Rev. James Dunphy officiated.

Their attendants included, the bride's sister, Judi Standiford of Payson, Arizona as maid of honor and a friend of the couple, Tom Hoeft of Oconomowoc as best man.

During their anniversary celebration, the Conovers plan to visit family and friends throughout Arizona. Both Bill and Linda Conover are retired.

The Conovers children include Bill III (Jodie) of Mount Pleasant, Amy (Brad) Kay of Mequon, Christopher (Kerry) of St. John's, Florida, and Jennifer, deceased. There are six grandchildren.
