David and Lynn Lapp of Watertown observed their 50th wedding anniversary on July 13.

David and the former Lynn Hardy were married July 13, 1968, at Elm Grove Methodist Church. Attendants were Dorothy Haslam, Arlene Hardy Keske, Ruth Lapp Martin, Anita Lapp, Sandra Haslam Heath, Robert Hardy, Raymond Hardy, Ronald Hardy, Jeff Hardy, LaVern Hardy, Roger Martin, Wayne Heiser and the late Gloria Mitchell and Russell Hardy.

David and Lynn have three children. They are James of Oconomowoc, Jonathan (Michelle) of Johnson Creek and Janelle of Watertown. A son, Jerald, is deceased. They also have 12 grandchildren: Jakob, Lukas, Joseph, Rose and Evangeline Lapp and Zeke Lincks, all of Lebanon; Caitlyn and Elizabeth Lapp of Johnson Creek; Crystalyn, Camren, Dawson Lapp and Josh Fehly of Watertown. The couple has one great-grandchild, Rylee Lapp.

Together, David and Lynn farmed near Richwood for 24 years. Upon retiring from farming, David was employed at The Custom Shoppe in Watertown and Avon Products in Johnson Creek. Lynn held human resource positions at the former Valley and M&I Bank of Watertown and The Custom Shoppe of Watertown and is currently employed at The Globe Apartments in Watertown as property manager.
