Arica Rupnow, Ted Therrien to tie knot

Ted E. Therrien of Brant, Mich., formerly of Elkhart, Ind., and Arica J. Rupnow, also of Brant, formerly of Watertown, have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The future groom is the son of Deldee Therrien of Rector, Ark., and the late Russell Therrien. A 1988 graduate of the Indiana School for the Deaf in Indianapolis, Ind., he is employed as co-owner and operator of Therrien Apple Ranch in Brant.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Carol Pubanz of Watertown and the late Brian Rupnow. She is a 1994 graduate of Lakeside Lutheran High School in Lake Mills and 2012 magna cum laude graduate of ITT Technical Institute in Schwartz Creek, Mich., where she received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice. She is also employed as co-owner and operator of Therrien Apple Ranch.

James Clary, Daniel Hankes to legally wed

James Clary and Daniel Hankes announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The couple will be legally wed Saturday, Aug. 29 at the Milwaukee Marriott, Downtown with a reception following.

Jim is the son of the late James and the late LaVerne Clary. Dan is the son of Jack and Debbie Hankes.

Les and Tracey Keeser mark anniversary

Les and Tracey (Bergin) Keeser, Johnson Creek, will observe their 25th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, March 24.

They were married on March 24, 1990, at St. John's Lutheran Church of Johnson Creek, in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Cyril Jandrey.

Tracey has been employed with Eaton Corporation for 26 years. Les has been working in the field of construction since he graduated high school. They both graduated from Johnson Creek High School, Les in 1984 and Tracey in 1987.

Lindemann's to celebrate 50th anniversary

Frank Lindemann and the former Georgianne Helmke were united in marriage on Feb. 27, 1965, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Watertown, officiated by Pastor Uetzmann.

The bride and groom were attended by Freida Deyoung Lindemann and William "Lindy" Lindemann.

Frank and Georgianne have three children, Randy (Diana) Lindemann of Illinois, Laurie Lindemann Dittmar of Watertown and Gay Lindemann Reese of Watertown. They also have seven grandchildren, Justin (Gina) Lindemann and Nathan (Brenna) Lindemann, both of Illinois; Rob (Katey) Higgins, Holly Dittmar, Kaitlyn Dittmar, Clinton Firari and Bailey Reese, all of Watertown. They have three great-great-grandchildren, Grace and Owen Lindemann and Liam Reese.

Gerald, Sarah Lipski mark 70 years married

Gerald J. Lipski Sr. and Sarah Lipski (nee Agnello) of Watertown, were married Aug. 26, 1944, at Our Lady of Pompeii Church (known as "the little pink church" in the historic Third Ward) in Milwaukee.

Gerald worked at American Motors before its closure and retired from Avon Park Prison in Avon Park, Fla.

They returned to Wisconsin to be with their children, Gerald Lipski Jr., Watertown; the late Diana (Joseph) Romano, and Patricia (the Rev. Gregory) Caldwell, Watertown.

Raymond and Irene Uttech of 1400 Evergreen Drive, Apartment 1, Watertown, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Sunday with an open house at Plattdeutscher Hall, 115 S. Second St.

The open house celebration will be held from 2-5 p.m. with a buffet lunch being served at 3 p.m.

Donald and Marilyn Stendel of Sullivan celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their children. They were married Aug. 15, 1964, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Lebanon. Don is retired from Carnation Instant, Oconomowoc, and they operate their family farm in Concord.

Don and Marilyn have five children and seven grandchildren, Nancy (Larry), Brady and Aaron Holbach of Portage; Gloria of Watertown, Janice (Chris) and Olivia Mertes of Sun Prairie; Warren (Tammy), Morgan, Emily and Natalie Stendel of Sullivan and Tom (Shannon) and Madeline Stendel of Madison.

Their attendants were, David and Beverly Stendel of Concord, Duane and Dorthy Zimmerman of Fox Lake, the late Alfred Stendel and Shirley Stendel of Racine, the late Ralph and Lucille Stendel, the late Jerome Stendel and Julie Kulke Krueger of Watertown.

Dan and Sandie Dittmann are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary this month.

Longtime residents of New York and Chicago, the Dittmanns retired to their hometown of Watertown in 2003.

The high school sweethearts continue to praise and thank their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the many and abundant blessings He has showered upon them throughout the years.

The couple has three children, Marcia Hackbarth (James Stueber), West St. Paul., Minn.; Randall (Kim) Hackbarth, Fitchburg; Paula Hackbarth (the Rev. Steven Schmeling), Toledo, Ohio.

Keulers plan anniversary celebration

Robert and Janice Keuler of Jefferson will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, July 18.

Robert and the former Janice Leschinsky were married on July 18, 1964, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson. The couple has four daughters, Darianne (Steve) Nelson, Darla Gehl, Desha (Brian) Pulkrabek and Delight (Craig) Lepple.

The Keulers also have eight grandchildren. The children of the couple invite family and friends to an open house at the Johnson Creek Community Center on Sunday, July 27, from 1-4 p.m. The center is located at 417 Union St., Johnson Creek.

Richard and the former Darlene Klokow were married on July 11, 1964, at St. John's Lutheran Church of Watertown. The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Eugene Gunther.

Zimmermans celebrate 50 years together

Roger and Laura (Kulow) Zimmerman will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Friday.

Roger and the former Laura Kulow were married June 27, 1964, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Deerfield by the Rev. Harmon Krause.

Although retired, Roger and Laura still enjoy being involved in the daily operations of the family farm.

James and Margery Hrobsky, 103 E. Green St., Watertown, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with their family and children at their home. James and the former Margery Krukenberg were married on June 27, 1964, at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Watertown by the Rev. Thomas A. Bier. James is retired from Cooper Power Systems. Margery is also retired.

They have four children, Cathy (Mike) Heinz of Watertown; Patrick (Brenda) from Mosinee; Kevin from Watertown and Todd (Heather) from Watertown.

They also have four granddaughters and eight great-granddaughters.

Jennifer is the daughter of Jim and Mary Krueger of Watertown. She is a graduate of Watertown High School. She has a bachelor degree in graphic design and advertising from UW-Milwaukee. She is employed as a graphic designer with Direct Supply in Milwaukee.

Mitch is the son of Quay and Jina Weed of Eldorado. He is a graduate of Laconia High School. He is self-employed as a home builder in Fond du Lac with Weed Builders LLC.

Couple plans wedding at place they met

Michael and Tina Jurgensen, Watertown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Valerie, Ixonia, to Kyle Mallow, Ixonia, son of Dianna Marcks, Elm Grove, and Curtis Mallow, Prentice.

Valerie and Kyle met while she was bartending at Windwood of Watertown for a wedding in which Kyle participated. Kyle asked Valerie to be his wife one day when they were vacationing in Door County. He knelt down on his paddleboard and popped the question.

Valerie is a 2010 graduate of Watertown High School. She works as a dental assistant in Wauwatosa.
